Knitting Needle Happiness

As part of my January clean, where everything needs to be reorganised, I considered making a nice roll for my knitting needles so they had somewhere nice to be stored.

Then I decided against, and I sure am glad!

They were pretty plain bamboo needles...

But with a lick of nail polish...

They're an explosion of colour!

Colour coded, so I'll always find the pair. Not too shabby, and makes me smile whenever I look at them. Much better than being hidden away in a drawer I think.
